Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530427) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or healthcare sector and marketing in the relevant sectors. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to keep their subordinates motivated to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. Experience in brand building of healthcare/clinical setup and familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in online and offline marketing is preferred.
The appointee will play a versatile role in leading junior administrative, executive and clerical staff in supporting a range of tasks in HKU Health System and the Clinical Affairs Deanery such as new development projects, liaison with affiliate teaching hospitals, and clinical governance and audits. In particular, the appointee will take charge in revamping the brand identity of HKU Health System. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
