Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Programme Assistant) in the Faculty of Law (Ref.: 530465) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
For Clerk I, applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector. Non-degree holders with substantial relevant working experience will also be considered. For Clerk II, applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. Preference will be given to those with work experience in local tertiary institutions.
Applicants should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; self-motivation and be a good team player; strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge and skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel) are essential.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the operation of the PCLL programme, including the organization of lectures, tutorials and seminars; distribution of application forms, promotional materials and lecture and tutorial materials; dealing with student queries and affairs; and performance of other duties as assigned. He/She may sometimes be required to work in the evenings on weekdays and on Saturdays.
