Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
Join our dynamic team as a Faculty Administration Services Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting the Faculty's strategic goals!

In this role you will provide essential business support in finance and administration, ensuring the efficient operation of the Faculty on a day-to-day basis. You will also lead and manage our administration team, contributing to strategic plans and initiatives that drive our Faculty forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • oversee and manage the administration team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
  • develop and implement efficient administrative processes and systems
  • administer financial documentation, analyse financial data, and ensure compliance with policies
  • collaborate on strategic planning and contribute to the Faculty's goals
  • uphold and promote the values, tikanga, and kawa of mana whenua, Ngāi Tūāhuriri, while valuing te reo Māori.

Mōu | Who You Are

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Administration Manager, with significant administration and people management experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • a minimum of 9 years' relevant experience, with 3-5 years in a tertiary education environment, preferred
  • proven staff management skills and experience leading diverse teams
  • strong planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • high proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with administrative systems
  • ability to apply initiative and innovation in a dynamic work setting
  • commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds
  • confidence and competence in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, is an advantage.
