Job Description:
Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer in Economics in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.:530327), to commence on July 1, 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a master’s degree or above in Economics or related disciplines, with at least six years’ teaching experience at the tertiary level or a combination of teaching and professional work experience, and good teaching skills. The appointee is expected to have prior teaching experience and will provide high-quality teaching at undergraduate and master's level in the field of applied microeconomics, casual inference and econometrics.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of the basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
