Technical Officer

Technical Officer in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 530240) (on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Science. They should have proficiency in laboratory work, and a diverse range of laboratory techniques. Experience in molecular biology and cell culture would be an advantage. Applicants should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, along with a strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills.

The appointee will be the technician-in-charge for preparing teaching practical sessions, operating system equipment and assisting the research groups in conducting experiments, as well as performing other duties as assigned.
