Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
The Student Experience Administrator plays a crucial role in facilitating the development, delivery, and administration of cohort-specific transition and engagement programs and events, which are designed to support students' seamless integration into and progression through university life.

Transition and engagement projects and events will optimise students' personal, social, extra-curricular and academic experiences in the UC Business School. By doing so, they aim to elevate their overall development, foster their perseverance, and pave the way for their triumph at UC.

Mōu | Who You Are
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum 3 years previous experience working in a tertiary institute or schooling environment in a related role and:

  • Previous experience planning and delivering student experience or transition programmes and events in a tertiary setting.
  • Proven ability to plan, deliver, monitor, review and report on projects, including budgets and health and safety.
  • Previous experience in public speaking or teaching, and group facilitation.
  • Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills with ability to engage with people of diverse ages, genders, cultures and languages, and socio-economic contexts.
  • A Bachelor's Degree (NZQA Level 7) in a commerce related discipline is desirable, but not essential
  • Previous experience in public speaking or teaching, and group facilitation.
  • Full Drivers' Licence
  • Active commitment to upholding the values, tikanga (protocols and processes), kawa (rules) of cultural practice and traditions as guided by mana whenua, Ngāi Tūāhuriri, and valuing te reo Māori.
