Post-doctoral Fellow in Optimization in the Department of Data and Systems Engineering

Applications are invited for the position of Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Data and Systems Engineering. The appointee will work conduct research in the area of mathematical optimization under the supervision of Professor Man-Chung YUE (https://manchungyue.com/). This is a full-time position with a fixed-term 1-year contract, with potential renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

Requirements

• A PhD degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics)

• Solid mathematical background

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

• Self-motivated and hardworking

• Proven publication record
