Job Description:

Research Assistant I in the Division of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530245)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate research activities for Cardiology division
  • Conduct clinical trials
  • Collect medical data, contact patients and handle clinical specimen
  • Provide support to clinical investigators and researchers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree or above, preferably in Medical Science, Biology or related fields
  • a strong sense of responsibility
  • good communication and collaboration skills
  • an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua)

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
