Job Description:

Post-doctoral Fellow in Transportation Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ref.: 530074)

We now invite applications for the captioned post.

Applicants should preferably possess a Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Urban Studies or a related discipline, with an outstanding track record of publications and research project experience. Applicants who are in the process of completing a Ph.D. degree will also be considered. Desirable qualification includes strong quantitative and analytical skills, including optimization, statistics, and programming; excellent written and oral communication abilities, and a collaborative attitude.

The appointee will conduct original and collaborative research; author and co-author peer-reviewed publications; collaborate in ongoing projects and develop new research proposals; and help supervise and train undergraduate and postgraduate students. The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
