Job Description:

Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Real Estate and Construction (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Ecology, Computer Science, Economics, and other related subjects. They should have a strong interest/experience in research related to circular economy, waste management, sustainable construction, building material stock modelling, material flow analysis, or life cycle assessment. Skills in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, remote sensing, GIS, big data analysis are preferred.

The appointee will be responsible for (1) conducting academic research related to circular construction, (2) drafting and publishing high-quality research papers, and (3) assisting research fund applications sometimes.
