Research Assistant II

Research Assistant II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref: 527475) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Counselling, Music Therapy, Psychology, or related disciplines, preferably with at least one year of work experience. They should be competent in counselling skills, and preferably have experience in using music to address mental health problems. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational and interpersonal skill; ability to work independently and as a team, and to collaborate with external parties.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator Prof. Sally Cao in implementing an intervention research project (RCT) on mental health, and be responsible for intervention delivery, participant recruitment, data collection and performing any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
