Job Description:

Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 526984) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of administrative work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); good organizational and interpersonal communication skills; good IT skills; attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a team and handle multiple tasks with self-motivation.

The appointee will assist in programme administration and perform ad-hoc and non-routine tasks assigned by the Department. He/She will also provide general administrative support in the Department, including handling HR matters, answering programme-related enquiries, preparing documentation, and performing any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
