Laboratory Assistant

Laboratory Assistant in the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526818) (to commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language. They should also be responsible and efficient with good interpersonal and communication skills.

The appointee will be responsible for the cleaning of laboratory, sterilization of laboratory instruments and reagents/media, disposal of laboratory waste, collection and delivery of specimens, and perform other duties as assigned. He/She will also assist the Laboratory Manager in smooth running of laboratory facilities.
