Job Description:

Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 526615) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree, with at least 5 years’ solid administrative experience in the higher education or public/quasi-public sectors. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and strong communication skills. They should be meticulous, self-motivated, attentive to details, able to multi-task independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and a good team player.

The appointee will:

  1. assist in the administration and promotion of scholarships, prizes and financial aids for students;
  2. provide support for fundraising initiatives and related events;
  3. manage a portfolio of donors for ongoing engagement and stewardship;
  4. support other portfolios of the Knowledge Exchange & Faculty Advancement Team; and
  5. perform other duties as assigned.

Work outside office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
