Technician/Administrator - Nursing

Permanent part-time position (0.6FTE) - North Campus 

The School of Clinical Sciences is looking for a technician to contribute to the effective technical and administrative support to the School staff.  This position is based on AUT North Campus and will support our Nursing Department.

As a Technician, you will:

• provide a wide range of technical services in support of the School of Clinical Sciences
• contribute to the function of a high-performing team

To succeed in this role, you need to demonstrate:

• Knowledge and/or experience in a clinical health field
• Some financial background will be desirable but not a must
• Tertiary qualification and/or extensive work experience in a health-related industry
• Be emotionally resilient, quick on the uptake, and calm under pressure
• Be comfortable working with complex and changeable information
• Ability to exercise sound judgement in problem solving and negotiating with all stakeholders
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
• A high level of organisational and advanced administrative skills
• Capacity to assess priorities and manage a range of tasks and complex issues simultaneously
• Excellent Microsoft skills

setting at AUT's North campus in Northcote.

Salary Range: $56,500 - $75,000 Pro-rata (dependent on experience and qualifications)
