Bioinformatics Analyst (at the rank of Research Assistant I/II) in the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS) (Ref.: 526510) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The Role
- Manage, explore and perform mining of data to address important biological questions
- Analyze genomics or proteomics datasets
- Engage in collaborative efforts with scientists and provide expert informatics solutions
Qualifications and Qualities
- Master’s degree or above in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biological Sciences or related disciplines
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Ability to use programming languages such as R, Python, or related languages
- Experience in analyzing genomics or proteomics datasets (advantageous)
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and enjoy teamwork
- Willing to meet new challenges
Candidates with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for the position of Research Assistant I.
