Job Description:

Assistant Programme Officer (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Careers and Placement Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) (Ref.: 526443) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary).

Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably with 2-3 years’ work experience in tertiary institutions and/or corporations. They should be independent, self-motivated, result-oriented, attentive to details, and able to multitask and work under pressure. Strong organisational, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and data analytic skills are required. Previous experience in supporting training and development programmes, digital learning, student internships, and social media marketing would be highly advantageous. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and high proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office. Knowledge in graphic design, website builder, video editing software and online learning platforms is preferred.

The appointee will support the implementation of a series of career development and employment support programmes, including career training workshops, digital learning platforms, career coaching, internship programmes, and related publicity initiatives. He/She will be involved in formulating and executing promotion plans through social media and other channels, monitoring programme effectiveness, analysing feedback data, preparing evaluation reports, and performing other duties as assigned. The appointee will work closely with students, cross-team members, and external parties such as trainers, career coaches, employers, and programme partners. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview.
