Job Description:

Programme Officer/Programme Coordinator (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526544) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ solid work experience in handling academic programmes in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; IT proficiency; good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to work independently. They should also be highly proactive and competent in handling multiple tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Programme Coordinator (at the rank of Clerk II).

The appointee will mainly provide administrative, clerical and student support to the undergraduate curriculum. He/She may also be required to provide support to new teaching-and-learning-related initiatives and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends will be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview.
