Technical Officer

Technical Officer in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526514) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Biochemical Science or a related discipline, with relevant experience in molecular biology techniques such as DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, sequencing and Cell Culture techniques. The appointee will handle clinical specimens such as blood samples, maintain good documentation of data, contribute to routine laboratory running, and perform other duties as assigned mainly in the Research Laboratory of Hong Kong Children’s Hospital.
