Job Description:

Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) (two posts) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 526502) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ relevant experience preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), IT proficiency, good interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills. They should also be self-motivated, presentable, outgoing, and able to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures. Fresh graduates with a good academic background will also be considered.

The appointees will provide administrative support on taught postgraduate programmes such as admission, examination, course enrolment, scholarships and other related student matters. They will also be responsible for the coordination of student enrichment activities, workshops and any other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours may be occasionally required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
