A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Office of Research Strategy and Integrity as an Animal Research Compliance Manager at the University. This role is part of the expanded Animal Welfare Officer’s team which works to ensure a high standard of animal health, welfare, and research overall. Together, we make an important contribution to the vital work being done to ultimately help improve the health and well-being of humans, animals, and the environment.

In this role you will ensure that the Animal Ethics Committee/University meets its obligations under the Code of Ethical Conduct (CEC) and the Animal Welfare Act (AWA). This role will also be involved in training, drug compliance, and supporting work done by the Biological Safety Committee, as it relates to animal-based Research, Testing, and Teaching.

This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role, on a permanent contract. The salary range for this role is $100,000 – $120,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
