Job Description:

Student Affairs Assistant I (at the rank of Clerk II) (2 posts) in the Counselling and Person Enrichment Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref.: 526469) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary).

Applicants should have a Diploma/Associate Degree or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 1 year’s office experience. Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree will also be considered. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (particularly Excel) and online learning platforms (e.g. Zoom/Microsoft Teams) is a must. They should possess effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; and an ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment. They should also be a good team player with a positive attitude, be attentive to details with high accuracy, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.

The appointees will provide administrative support to office management, counselling and psychological services/SEN (Special Educational Needs) support service/projects, and day-to-day operation; assist in the promotion and organization of peer support programmes/awareness-raising activities and large-scale events; consolidate statistics and reports; serve as a receptionist; and perform any other duties as assigned.
