Job Description:

Assistant IT Manager (at the rank of IT Officer) (several posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 526472) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines, with at least 2 years’ experience in system development and solution implementation. They should have a sound understanding of agile approach, microservices, DevOps, API, and App containerization. Those with hands-on development practices using React.js, .Net Core, PHP, NodeJS, CSS, MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, OutSystems and UiPath would have an advantage. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is essential.

The appointees will design, build, and enhance software system based on business requirements and develop system mock-up and proof-of-concept (PoC). They will also perform system test, system integration test, system performance test, and system stress test. The appointees are expected to prepare software documentation and artifacts, including but not limited to architecture diagram, technical specification, system test plan, and system operations manual. Other responsibilities include coordinating and supervising external implementation partners for their delivery of quality services, and providing end-user support by handling their enquiries and requests in a timely manner.
