We are seeking an administrative assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team in the Dean's Office of AUT's Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law.  This is a fixed-term position, while we review the workload and composition of the Dean's Office administration team, and a permanent role may open in the future.

This position requires excellent time management and prioritisation skills to support a range of stakeholders across a varied portfolio of work. You will be comfortable working independently to meet deadlines and complete tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, and you will enjoy maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships. 

To be successful in this position you will: 

  • Have high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to take Initiative and make sound judgments  
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills  
  • Be comfortable with technology and adapt to new software
  • Have excellent Microsoft Office skills 
  • Be confident in assisting and dealing with people at all levels with a variety of requests, problems, and queries 

 

Salary Range: $56,500 - $75,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
