Research Assistant I/II

Research Assistant I/II in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref. 526441) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Dentistry, Microbiology, Biological Sciences or relevant disciplines. The applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese). They should be experienced in research methodology, academic writing, and the use of statistical software. Preference will be given to those with track record in research, in particular research experience in cariology or microbiology.

The appointee will assist a team or work alone to liaise with related parties, collect clinical samples and perform laboratory work involving human clinical samples for community-based projects. He/She may perform administrative duties and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training will be provided. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
