Research Assistant II (holding the functional title of Project Assistant) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 526470) (from as soon as possible to February 28, 2025)

The CCMIR Lab (http://ccmir.cite.hku.hk/) at the University of Hong Kong is seeking a full-time Research Assistant II who is interested in environmental education and the application of research technology to promoting environmental education.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Communications, Languages, or a related discipline, with post-qualification working experience in event management, stakeholder engagement and coordination, and/or organizing activities is preferred. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with teachers and students of primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. They are expected to have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on a tight schedule. They should also be self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently and within a team. They should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a good command of written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese) and English.

The appointee will work for a project supported by the Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF). He/She will work closely with the project’s Principal Investigator and the project team to perform the following duties: (a) planning and co-organizing activities, (b) providing assistance in promotional and administrative work, (c) coordinating and communicating with co-organizers, participants and other parties, (d) conducting project related assessments and evaluations, (e) preparing project reports and other deliverables, (f) managing project website and social media accounts; and performing any other duties as assigned.
