Job Description:

Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Admissions Office of the Registry (Ref.: 526442) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have completed Form 5 or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. Working experience is preferred but fresh graduates will also be considered. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as computer literacy skills including Excel. They should also be attentive to details and are willing to learn.

The appointee will assist in handling admissions offers and managing a database using Excel. He/she will work on the admission of undergraduate programmes by processing applications, managing admissions data, and perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The appointee is also expected to work closely with departments/ divisions of the Faculties within the University. He/she may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
