Job Description:

Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 526335) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution or related field. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); effective and mature interpersonal and communication skills; high self-motivation and the ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision. They should have a strong sense of responsibility and flexible mindset and be good team players with proven ability to handle multiple tasks and be attentive to details. Those with experience in research postgraduate programme administration and/or research administration and/or committee work would be an advantage. Candidates with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Clerk II.

The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support to the operations of postgraduate programmes, including admissions, enrolment, registration, and graduation, and handling various administrative duties related to postgraduate studies and research matters. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
