Job Description:

Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the School of Humanities (Ref.: 526285) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong data analytical skills and be proficient in computer literacy. They should also be detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to demonstrate collegiality and flexibility, working both independently and with a team.

The appointee will provide administrative support for various functional areas, primarily in financial management including but not limited to, purchasing and reimbursements, inventory management, maintenance of financial records, and preparation for financial statements and reports. He/She will also be responsible for general office administration, providing occasional logistical support to academic events, and performing any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
