Job Description:

Post-doctoral Fellow in Structural Engineering/Smart Construction in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ref.: 526282), to commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

We now invite applications for the captioned post.

Applicants should preferably possess a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with an outstanding track record of publications and research project experience. Applicants who are in the process of completing a Ph.D. degree will also be considered. Desirable qualifications include strong numerical simulation skills, experience in computer vision or 3D reconstruction, excellent written and oral communication abilities, and a collaborative attitude.

The appointee will conduct original and collaborative research; author and co-author peer-reviewed publications; collaborate in ongoing projects and develop new research proposals; and help supervise and train undergraduate and postgraduate students.
