Job Description:

Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 526274) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, preferably with a recognized degree plus at least 2 years’ work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills. They should also be a good team player with selfmotivation and a strong sense of responsibility. Degree holders will be offered the functional title of Executive Assistant.

The appointee will provide support in education programme administration, organize a variety of academic activities and events, and perform ad hoc and non-routine tasks as required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
