Job Description:

Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 526140) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree with work experience preferably in tertiary institutions. They should be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude. A good command of English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua; effective interpersonal and organisational skills; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills are essential.

The appointee will be assigned to assist in clerical/administrative work in relation to taught- postgraduate degree programme administration, including finance and human resources management; and to perform general office administration and ad hoc/non-routine tasks as required. Work outside normal office hours may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Those with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for the post of Senior Executive Assistant.
