Research Assistant I/II

Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref: 526160) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in the disciplines of Virology, Bioinformatics, or Biological Sciences and have a strong interest in working closely with virologists and clinicians. Candidates are expected to be highly motivated and come up with independent lines of research enquiry. Those with interest in pursuing higher research postgraduate studies are encouraged to apply.

The appointee will conduct research projects related to emerging agents of hepatitis (such as rat hepatitis E virus) under the supervision of Dr. Siddharth Sridhar in a world-leading clinical-translational emerging viral hepatitis research laboratory in a vibrant international city.
