Job Description:

Executive Officer in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 526008) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in a tertiary education institution. Experience in undergraduate or taught postgraduate programme development and/or administration would be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); good organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; and good IT proficiency. They should be good team players with proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be attentive to details. They should also be able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

The appointee will join the Faculty Office to provide executive support to the Faculty and the Schools in the planning, development and execution of new curricula, manage curriculum review processes and reporting, serve committees and working groups, and perform other duties as assigned.
