Research Assistant I/II

Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref: 526058) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Virology, Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Animal Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline. Previous experience in omic-science or primary cell culture will be an advantage. The applicants should have effective communication skills, a strong interest in working closely with virologists and clinicians, be highly motivated, independent, and able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment. The appointee will be involved in research projects related to emerging viral pathogens under the supervision of Dr. Hin Chu.
