Job Description:

Business architecture is one of the four architectural domains of Enterprise Architecture(EA). A business architect has a clear understanding of the digital transformation strategy and articulates the business areas to be digitally enabled so as to strategically respond to disruptive business and technology change. This job role will work with Chief Digital Officer, stakeholders across the business units and other EA/IT practitioners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze current business needs and future goals, and align technology roadmap with business objectives.
  • Apply the business architecture framework to articulate the business model, reimagine the customer journeys based on the selected customer personas, and document the business capabilities and the business processes to be digitally enabled.
  • Work with other EA practitioners to craft a blueprint for technology infrastructure, applications, and data assets to support digital business capabilities and business processes.
  • Assist in business case approvals, architecture reviews and conduct regular reviews of the enterprise architecture repository to ensure that technology aligns with the overall digital transformation strategy and meets the need of the University.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computing/Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the Institute of Higher Learning (IHLs).
  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in business analysis, system analysis, project management and/or EA related disciplines.
  • Proactive, quality-conscious, self-starter with an analytical and methodological mind.
  • Result and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Good verbal and written communications, presentation, and negotiation skills
