Senior IT Assistant

Senior IT Assistant in the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 525962) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE; a recognized Higher Diploma or Diploma; and at least 2 years’ relevant work experience. They should have knowledge of software applications including MS Office and photo/video editing software; and be highly competent in troubleshooting and maintenance of PC/MacOS, and other computer equipment. They should be good team players with a strong sense of responsibility.

The appointee will provide audio-visual and IT technical services to various workshops/conferences/lectures; carry out and co-ordinate in setting up the venue, troubleshooting and maintenance of the Department’s computing and audio-visual facilities; provide technical assistance to staff members; and perform other duties as assigned.
