Job Description:

Part-time Student Research Assistant in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 525863) (several posts) (to commence as soon as possible until 31 August 2024, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should be undergraduate students, preferably in Education, English Studies, Translation, Information Management, Social Sciences or Science, who are familiar with the secondary education system in Hong Kong. They should have a very good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; and good team spirit. Being detail-minded, adaptable and having excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Possessing one or more of the following skills and experiences is an asset: copy editing, translation, data retrieval and organisation, data verification, and multimedia support. Familiarity with computer system requirements is desirable.

The appointees will provide administrative and project support in the implementation of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2025 in Hong Kong secondary schools from Spring 2024 onwards. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a test and/or an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
