Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry, to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering or closely related discipline, and a good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of thin film coatings or organic electronics technology is highly desirable. Good organizational skills, the ability to work independently, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation are essential. The appointee will perform device fabrication and characterization of organic electronic devices under the supervision of Professor V.W.W. Yam. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
