Research Assistant Professor (RAP) position in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 523718)

Professor Hongjie Dai (formerly Jackson-Wood Professor of Chemistry at Stanford University), Chair Professor in the Department of Chemistry, is inviting applications for RAP in his research lab. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Requirements

  • a Ph.D. degree in the chemistry, materials science/nanoscience, bioengineering, biophysics/biochemistry, or medicine
  • at least 2 years’ postdoctoral experience
  • strong publication record
  • experience on writing grant proposals for the research programs which highly interdisciplinary and collaborative with other groups in the School of Science, Engineering and Medicine at the University as well as leading groups in the Greater Bay Area
  • experience on working with students and collaborators
  • fluent in English, Mandarin and preferably Cantonese.
  • excellent administrative work skills
