Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As the Tautāwhi | Administration Assistant / Receptionist, your mission is to sprinkle some administrative magic at Te Kaupeka Ako | Faculty of Education! Joining forces with our amazing team, you'll dive into daily tasks with enthusiasm, making sure everything runs as smoothly as a well-choreographed dance. Picture yourself as the friendly face at the reception, the superhero who handles visitors and callers with efficiency and charm. This role is your ticket to a customer-service adventure, ensuring that everyone - from staff to curious visitors - leaves with smiles and satisfaction. Mōu | Who You Are
You will be an experienced individual with at least 1-2 years' experience in an administrative or reception support role in a medium to large organisation along with:

  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to cope with competing demands.
  • Demonstrates resilience and organisational skills, including ability to set priorities, manage time and plan, work to meet deadlines, and escalate when appropriate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Teams.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service for students and staff members.
  • A good knowledge of the tertiary education sector is preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and processes
  • An alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
