Job Description:

Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ref.: 530423) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ of relevant work experience in tertiary institutions. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); good interpersonal skills; self-motivation with a strong sense of responsibility; a good teamwork attitude; and an ability to prioritise and multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision. They should also be proficient in IT applications (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing).

The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support to our taught postgraduate programmes, managing tasks related to student admissions, course selection, class timetabling and administration, examination matters, data collection and compilation, etc. Additionally, he/she will assist in handling inquiries, providing general support to events and completing general clerical tasks as required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Those with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for the post of Senior Executive Assistant. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and interview.
