- Full-time 37.5 hours per week
- Fixed-term role until December 2025
Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
You will manage the end-to-end delivery of commercially complex, large and/or high-risk projects within the Cyber Programme. You will take ownership of the projects from concept to closure, and will liaise closely with all stakeholders, vendors, and users.
In this challenging role you will be:
- Working on a wide variety of projects within our Cyber Security Programme implementing some leading technologies
- Managing projects end to end, working with the wider programme team
- Working in a growing portfolio management team with a chance to contribute to how we work.
There are no boring run of the mill or 'easy' projects - but lots of opportunities and challenges to get your teeth into! You will also contribute to the development of the project management practice, helping to remove barriers and implement identified process improvements.
Mōu | Who You Are
You are an experienced senior project manager who has a good understanding of IT environments and the software development lifecycle, having led a number of software and infrastructure projects. Ideally you will have an awareness of Cyber Security.
You will be a great people person, with a positive proactive attitude and a willingness to get things done. You will be able to manage multi-functional teams, leading them to deliver great business outcomes. A sense of humour would also be useful!
As you will be working in an agile manner, it's important that you enjoy problem solving, are an effective communicator and can adapt to shifting priorities.
As you will be dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders, it's important that you can build productive and positive relationships with a range of people.
Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
This role is wide ranging, and depending on the projects being managed, you will work with teams across UC. You will be part of our Portfolio Management and Delivery practice, sitting within the wider Digital Services team.
Our Digital Team is on an exciting transformation journey, supporting UC to deliver a large amount of change. You will work closely with Product Managers, Product Directors, and other members of the Digital team, as well as multiple other teams across UC.
