Manager/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Executive Officer/Clerk II) (2 posts) in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 528733) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree preferably in Marketing, Public Relations, Events Management, Translation or other related disciplines, with solid work experience in marketing, public relations, events management and/or fundraising management. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; outstanding organizational, interpersonal, communication, time management and problem-solving skills. They should be proficient in video editing and graphic design tools, and website management platforms such as Photoshop, Movie Maker, WordPress, Google Analytics. Solid graphic design experience is a must. Those with strong writing and data analytical skills will have an advantage. They should have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast paced and dynamic environment. They should also be a good team player with a cheerful and positive personality; be self-motivated, detailed-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and a can-do attitude. Those with work experience in the PR/ marketing agencies, tertiary education sector and/ or non-profit organizations are preferred.
For the position of Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer), applicants should have at least 5 years’ relevant experience with particularly up-to-date knowledge and proven track record in digital marketing, public relations, social media and website content management.
For the position of Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II), applicants should have at least 2 years’ relevant experience with particularly proven track record in preparing content (videos, photos, write-ups, etc.) for various communication channels, supporting the social media and website content management.
The appointees will join and support the Faculty Office’s Development and Communications Team for its wide range of work portfolio such as executing integrated marketing campaigns, organizing events, managing the faculty website and social media platforms, preparing write-ups for marketing and publicity materials, developing promotional materials, handling media relations, supporting fundraising and alumni relations initiatives, and to perform any other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours on weekdays and at weekends may occasionally be required.
