Our Examination Coordinators, internally known as Doctoral Examination Coordinator, work in a small team to manage the full examination process of all PhD and other Doctoral Theses.
This role provides an opportunity to use your sound judgement and organisational skills as you work effectively to manage multiple doctoral examinations involving a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Doctoral Examination Team Lead, you will be responsible for delegated decision making within complex regulations, policy and process for doctoral examinations.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide expert consistent advice to candidates, supervisors, academic heads and senior stakeholders on complex and extensive policy, procedures and guidelines relating to doctoral examination.
- Organisation of all aspects of doctoral examinations from thesis submission to completion, including oral examinations.
- Assessment of examiner nominations, examination reports and delegated decision making.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior international academics.
This role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis. The salary range for this role is $56,600 - $70,600 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
