Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Network and Server and Cloud (Good to have)
- Main responsibility to set up and configure Network / Server hardware according to ICT Requirements.
- Responsible for network solutions or technologies: plan – document – implement – configure – debug – improve.
- Manage small to medium Networking projects within the area of specialization SDN, Aruba and Cisco technology.
- Provides technical expertise to the cross-functional project, with various Network technologies including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, IP address Management, Load Balancing, Server technology, Hypervisor, VMWare solution and Network Security products.
- Lead problem resolution and documentation.
- Troubleshoot intermediate to advanced problems, escalating to upper-level associates as appropriate.
- Connect and disconnect cable patches with label cable including equipment in DC and riser equipment with troubleshooting
- Decommission of IT equipment (networks, servers, network, storage, backup devices.
- Vendor Management - Coordination, Vendor Escort / Supervision.
- Maintain and monitor infrastructure system health and fix any issues that arise.
Data Center (Least to have experience)
- Regular physical / visual inspection of equipment and data center operations facilities.
- Rack, space, power and cooling allocations for new install or relocation requests.
- Capacity management (space, power, cooling, patch panel port availability).
- Understanding of DC Space, Power, and Cooling Management.
- Have knowledge of HVAC/CRAC, UPS, Battery and Generator systems a plus.
- Follow proper data center best practices during setup and installation, including but not limited to airflow, cable management, and power consumption
- Manage data center, IT assets and inventories.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering / Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
- Familiar with Windows Server, Linux and VMWare operating systems.
- Familiar with setup and configuration of the server, enterprise network, and SAN equipment.
- Experience in technical knowledge on cloud infrastructures, migrations, and technology management
- Experience in OS(Windows or Linux) and network administration
- Work independently and has the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Work effectively with minimal direction or supervision for day-to-day tasks and communicate outcomes.
- Fast learning ability, willing to pick up new skills and technologies.
- Familiar with Procurement Process
Vendor product knowledge skills (Good to have)
- Have some working knowledge of Cisco UCS, Hyperflex, Nexus, ACI, Nutanix products, VMWare NSX and VMWare load balancers.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support environment working with Cisco and Aruba products.
- Working knowledge of Meraki Switch, Router, Cisco ACI, Prime, CMX, ISE Cisco Wireless products, Aruba ClearPass, Wireless / SDN is an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of Aruba, AWS, F5, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate or Juniper products will be a plus.
Soft Skills (Good to have experience)
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas and results to all levels of staff
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have a positive attitude and excellent team player
PC Skills (least to have experience)
- Hands-on experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of End User computing with Clone OS image.
- Experience in Troubleshooting and Repairing of PC/Notebooks
