Junior QA Engineer – Core Payments

Here's where you come in. As the Junior QA Engineer you’ll play a key support role in the delivery of our automation initiatives and projects to ensure collaboration, communication, adherence to process and quality. You’ll help drive our company’s various approaches to improve quality assurance.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:
  • Implement project test plans and the various testing artefacts associated with project and work requests
  • Execute testing tasks within projects and work requests
  • Create manual and automated tests based on requirements and designs, using the test management and automation tools using various aspects of .net and XML
  • Keep the QA Test Lead informed on testing progress within each of the assigned Projects and work requests
  • Ensure that each project meets the required quality
  • Report on testing progress and in some instances author Test Summary reports.

What we’re looking for:
We need you to be organised and a solid communicator with an appetite for constant change. You’ll most probably be a recent Computer Science (or similar) graduate. Most of all we need you to have:
  • A passion for automation testing
  • Be a self-starter and competent document reader
  • Good knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of testing
  • Excellent technical skills and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Good knowledge of SQL, XML and .net frameworks. Knowledge of Gherkins and Cucumber is a plus.
  • Confident communicator, problem solver and team player.
